  Ms. Blake’s Grading, Policies and Predictions
Always give 100% and you will be very successful!

 1.  Be in the room when the bell rings!

 2.  Have supplies and come prepared.

 3.  If you are absent when a performance is due, your group will perform. If we are still on that particular project when you return to class, you will be able to perform that day. Otherwise, you will do a written assignment to make up for

the performance missed.

4.  You may bring water to class.

5.  NO GUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6.  Audience etiquette- (a major portion of your grade) During performances, stay in your seat throughout the entire performance. Give your full attention to the performers. Show respect for your classmates and encourage them to succeed by performing your job as an audience member.

7.  Vulgar, tasteless comments and /or obscenities are unacceptable in scenes, monologues, or improvisations.

8.  No headphone, No CD players, No cell phones or any other type of electronics. 

9.  Dress appropriately for this class and according to district dress code.  You will not be excused from activities because You made the choice not to dressappropriately.  You will receive a “0” for the day, if you cannot participate due to  

inappropriate dress.

10. Check bad moods at the door and bring a smile to class. 

Grades :

®  60%  Formative- class participation, audiences etiquette, group work, daily work

®  40% Summative- performances, projects, tests, major group work
